I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with years of experience supporting individuals through crisis, trauma, and life’s many challenges. My professional training, combined with my experience in the Canadian Armed Forces and working in crisis situations, has shaped my practical, compassionate, and down-to-earth approach to therapy.
I work with adults, couples, adolescents, and children who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling with the challenges of everyday life. Together, we explore patterns that may no longer be serving you, develop a deeper understanding of what you are experiencing, and build practical strategies to help you move forward.
My approach is person-centred, which means therapy is tailored to you—your needs, your experiences, and where you are in your journey. I incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, expressive and creative approaches, and other outside-the-box methods when traditional talk therapy may not be enough.
I specialize in trauma and incorporate EMDR and Equine Psychotherapy into my practice. I believe therapy does not have to look the same for everyone, and sometimes meaningful change happens when we find an approach that truly connects with you.
Most importantly, I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up as you are. I know what it is like to sit in the client’s chair, and I understand how important it is to feel heard, respected, and genuinely understood. I provide a supportive, authentic, and judgement-free space where we can work through challenges together.
You do not have to figure everything out at once. Together, we can build the skills, confidence, and resilience you need to move forward—one step at a time.
